Since Zalando DK was founded, more than 150,000 products and 1,500 brands have been made available for online customers. The platform is an attractive sales channel in Northern Europe, which is why the growth forecasts for e-commerce in Scandinavian countries remain at a high level. Kathrin Hösl, Customer Units Director at Tradebyte, explains why: “The Scandinavian countries have a strong affinity with e-commerce, despite their low population density, as there can be huge distances to the next shop. So it’s simple logic that Zalando expands the partner programme in Northern Europe and that we accompany that path with our TB.One SaaS solution and many brands from the fashion industry.”

The product range offered by Zalando itself is expanded by the Zalando partner programme with offers by connected brands and suppliers. For the marketplace specialist Tradebyte and Zalando that’s a welcome opportunity to extend their already existing partnership in the north. The central management tool of the entire process is Tradebyte TB.One. The SaaS software manages all processes and has interfaces to the relevant partners and Zalando. As usual, the partner is responsible for end consumer shipping and returns handling. Zalando takes over the first level support of the end consumer. So far, the pilot customer Bestseller has been integrated in the fully automatic process. Bestseller has been a Tradebyte customer since 2013 and is live on eight channels via TB.One. With a more than 2.5 billion euro turnover in 2013 and more than 15,000 employees all over the world, Bestseller is one of the big players in the international fashion industry and one of the biggest European fashion companies. Further integrations are already in progress – partner product ranges can now simply be extended to the Danish platform. In the near future, this will surely cause a marked increase in product and brand variety on Zalando DK.
