In 2017, Ansbach will also be represented as a location, along with the global metropoles of Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles. In the rooms of Tradebyte Software GmbH, creative developers of all skill levels will meet up from 20th – 22nd January 2017 to meet up and develop games together.

The procedure is relatively simple: Late on Friday afternoon, the participants will meet up and watch a short video together which announces the secret topic for the Global Game Jam. All locations across the globe have the challenge to develop games based on this topic by Sunday afternoon.

Food, drink and accommodation will be sponsored by Tradebyte for the entire weekend (entry is free of charge). The participants just have to bring their own hardware and software.
