6.4 million active customers and more than 1 million visitors per day make for a convincing argument: bol.com, which was founded in 1999, is one of the most popular online stores in the Netherlands and Belgium. In the books, entertainment, electronic devices, home & living, lifestyle and toy categories, the online marketplace ranks amongst the top sellers – and is also always amongst the top 5 of the most customer-friendly companies in The Netherlands. More than 4,400 pick-up points, where bol.com customers can receive their orders, are proof of that. Around 1,100 employees work at the company.

Additionally, from a vendor and manufacturer perspective, bol.com is an interesting sales partner: According to their ‘no cure, no pay’ principle, if a sale actually takes place. Altogether, bol.com already unites 12,000 vendors on its platform and it is set to expand. To make their own products even more attractive, bol.com has decided to cooperate with Tradebyte. As a ‘Preferred Integrations Partner’, Tradebyte makes the interface available to millions of products from German and international vendors and manufacturers, who can now also present their offers to Dutch and Belgian customers via bol.com. With TB.One, the connection to the Dutch marketplace is simplicity itself. Product texts merely have to be translated into Dutch. Bol.com also wants to support the German vendors in terms of fulfilment in the future. An introduction of ‘Logistics via bol.com’ is already being planned.

“Tradebyte is our preferred partner in Germany,” explains Cédric Beeris, International Market Manager at bol.com. “Through our cooperation, Tradebyte vendors can now be quickly present on the Dutch and Belgian market without much risk or investment, and profit from additional turnover. And we profit from millions of additional offers of excellent quality and smooth workflows with a high level of automation.” The TB.One SaaS solution from Tradebyte is the key for that.
